The People’s Choice Awards aired tonight, and quite a few of our favorite celebrity couple members won awards.

Reese Witherspoon won the award for Best Leading Lady for her role in the movie “Walk The Line” as June Carter. "You guys voted for us. Not the stuffy people in closed rooms ... people who voted actually go to the movies," she said.

Jennifer Garner won the award for Best Female Action Star, narrowly beating out Angelina Jolie.  Jennifer also received the Favorite Female TV Star award.  She couldn’t be at the award ceremony as she was home with her new child, Violet.

Matthew McConaughey won Favorite Male Action Star over Brad Pitt and The Rock for his role in Sahara.

Brad Pitt won the award for Favorite Leading Man after his turn in Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Jessica Simpson sang “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’” to open the show, and the song also ended up winning the award for Favorite Movie Song as it was featured in the Dukes of Hazzard.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson got the award for Best On-Screen Matchup for the work they did in Wedding Crashers.
